人称与时态：征文多用第一人称（I / we），以一般现在时为主；记叙自己过去的阅读或经历时插入一般过去时。介绍类征文（如《最美中华》）介绍地点、景点用一般现在时。

Let’s Read
Among all kinds of books, I would like to recommend biography to fellow students.
Biographies record the real lives of remarkable people, from scientists to artists. What attracts me most is not what they achieved, but how they overcame difficulties on the way to success. When I read about a scientist who failed hundreds of times before a great discovery, I feel my own worries become small.
Reading biography is like sitting beside a great mind and listening to their stories. It teaches us courage and persistence. I believe it can inspire every young reader. So pick up a biography, and let it light up your own journey.

How to Protect Our Eyesight
As is shown in the picture, many students around us are wearing thick glasses, and the number of short-sighted students keeps rising. Some of them even have to sit in the front row to see the blackboard clearly. Poor eyesight has become a serious problem among teenagers.
To protect our eyesight, we should first control our reading time and take a break every hour. Besides, we must read in proper light, neither too bright nor too dark. Doing eye exercises regularly is also highly recommended. Finally, enough sleep helps our eyes relax and recover.
Eyes are the windows of our soul. Let us form good habits and protect our eyesight from now on.

A Beautiful Place in China
If you want to see a charming Chinese city, I warmly recommend my hometown, Tianjin.
Located in the northeast of North China, Tianjin sits along the Haihe River, which runs through the whole city. It is a mixture of history and modern life. On the Five Great Avenues, you can see hundreds of beautiful Western-style houses. At night, the Tianjin Eye, a Ferris wheel over the river, shines brightly. Besides, local food such as jianbing guozi is well loved by visitors.
Every time I walk along the Haihe River, I feel proud of this city. I hope you can come and experience its warmth yourself.

My Dream Campus Day
Of the three choices, I would like to create Thumbs-up Day at our school.
On that day, students and teachers will give each other thumbs-up cards to show thanks and encouragement. We can write a short message on the card, such as “Well done on your speech” or “Thank you for helping me with math”. The best cards will be shown on the school notice board.
I believe this day is meaningful. In our busy daily life, we seldom take time to praise others. Thumbs-up Day will warm up the whole campus, build trust between classmates, and make everyone feel valued. Small praise can make a big difference.
07本课避坑与收口
- 不拟标题：征文题目已给就照抄居中，漏写标题或自拟跑题都扣分；不要加 Dear / Yours 书信格式。
- 观点两头倒：开头说”读书很好”，结尾又说”不读书也无所谓”——立场必须从头到尾一致。
- 只喊口号无论证：”Reading is very important!” 之后没有理由、没有例子，是五类文；务必道理＋举例。
- 看图不描图：看图征文跳过画面直接议论，丢一半分；开头必须 As is shown in the picture…。
- 三选一摇摆：把三个选项都写一遍、或”I haven’t decided”，直接跑题；选定一个后全文贯穿。
