As is vividly shown in the drawing, a student sits before a laptop labeled “course selection system”, hesitating between two thoughts. One bubble promises “new knowledge, innovation and challenge”, while the other whispers “high grades, easy to pass, little homework.”
The picture reflects a common dilemma among college students: should we pursue real learning or an easy transcript? Some choose courses purely for high scores, avoiding anything difficult. They may graduate with a beautiful grade point average, yet master little that is genuinely useful. University, however, is a place for growth, not for comfortable survival. Courses that challenge us are exactly where real ability is forged.
From my perspective, we should put the pursuit of knowledge above easy credits. A challenging course, though demanding, enriches us far more. Only by daring to take difficult paths can we build solid competence for the future.

As is vividly shown in the drawing, two young climbers are halfway up a mountain. Exhausted, one sits on the rocks and declares “I’m too tired, I’ll stop climbing.” His companion, handing over a bottle of water, persuades him: “Come on! Take a short break and then keep going.” The caption is “On the Journey.”
The picture conveys an inspiring message: on the way to any goal, perseverance matters more than a sudden burst of energy. It is normal to feel tired, but giving up halfway wastes all the effort already made. Many people fail not because they lack ability, but because they quit at the last bend. A proper rest is not surrender; it is a way to gather strength for the final push.
From my perspective, when we meet difficulties in study or work, we should allow ourselves a pause but never an exit. Only those who keep moving step by step can finally reach the summit and enjoy the view.

As is vividly shown in the two pictures, a diligent woman works at her desk early, with a thought bubble reading “Only finishing ahead of schedule makes me feel secure.” In sharp contrast, a young man in the right panel delays everything, murmuring “I won’t start until the last minute.” The caption is “Habits.”
The pictures compare two opposite working habits. Those who finish tasks ahead of time stay calm and have room to improve. Those who always procrastinate, however, end up rushing under deadline pressure and turning out poor work. Bad habits, once formed, quietly shape our results. As the saying goes, starting early is itself a competitive edge, while leaving things to the last minute only produces anxiety.
From my perspective, we should cultivate the habit of getting things done in time. Instead of putting work off, we ought to plan ahead and act promptly. Only by forming a positive habit can we work steadily and succeed with confidence.

As is vividly shown in the drawing, a boy in traditional opera costume, holding a stage weapon, says to his father, “Dad, many classmates think learning Peking Opera is no fun.” His father gently replies, “But you love it yourself, don’t you? That is enough.”
The picture conveys a warm and enlightening message: we should follow our genuine interest rather than blindly follow the crowd. It is true that traditional opera may seem old-fashioned to some peers, yet what truly matters is whether it brings us joy and a sense of achievement. When we pursue something out of real passion, we gain the patience to persist and the courage to ignore outside noise.
From my perspective, young people should have the courage to stick to what they love. Instead of judging a choice by what others think, we should listen to our own heart. Only by holding fast to our genuine interest can we grow into who we truly are.
